In my parents’ home, a rather unattractive pink seat was wecloming you in the entrance. My mother used to sit on it every time she puts on her shoes. While working on the theme of the invisibility of furniture, I became struck by how this seat, despite clashing completely with the
rest of the house, had become almost invisible through everyday use.
This observation led me to design and craft a new seat, inspired by the iconic LC4 longue chair by Charlotte Perriand and Le Corbusier. The resulting piece is both personal and symbolic: a singular object that replaces the overlooked original while blending emotional
resonance with one of my most influential design references

In my parents’ home, there has always been a rather unattractive pink seat by the entrance the one my mother sits on every time she puts on her shoes. While working on the theme of the invisibility of furniture, I found it striking how this seat, despite clashing completely with the rest of the house, had become almost invisible through everyday use.
So I decided to design and craft a new seat for her inspired by the iconic LC4 chaise longue by Charlotte Perriand and Le Corbusier. So this piece became both personal and symbolic: a singular piece of furniture that blends emotional resonance with one of my favorite design references.
